return of the tsvangi
Well look, a couple of mates had a wager on how long the PM would stay out of government. We had as the fifth and latest the seventh and guess what. The average was correct.
I am sure he has a point and so does the old guy but we need to work and as long as they are throwing forks at each other the country is suffering.
Come now boys. It's gone for long enough. The people of Zimbabwe will outgrow both of you in a minute because they are beginning to feel as if they are teachers and you are a bunch of pre-school kids fighting over who gets the play-dough today

mugabe still a wily old fox
So the old fox was on CNN last night having a bit of fun with that Christiane Amanpour girl on Exclusive and had it been anybody else she would have had the interviewee down and out for the count early into the first round. That is how tough Amanpour is...
But against Zimbabwe's President Robert Gabriel Mugabe, that thorn in the side of the West she was left gasping for air.
The first half looked pretty as the two exchanged blows. Well if I was to be generous I would say it was a draw but in the second half it was a different story.
Amanpour was baited and it was a bit like watching a horror show and you're screaming at the victim to get out of the way. They are opening the door and blam... The scream was silent but it was legendary.
Just a wee bit into the second half, the old man looked bored and Amanpour tried to make a comeback but it was much like the kid who scribbles on his shirt at the end of his last year in school. The kid feels like he is making some sort of point but he has been the bitch through the years...

McCain's dogs bollocks and Mugabe still hates the British and the Americans
So this Thursday Sen John McCain came out saying that there was need for the parties to suspend presidential campaign and focus on the economy. This was pretty rich coming from someone who said that there was nothing to worry about and that the fundamentals were still fine and there was no need to panic over the economy.
With less than forty days till America makes a decision that could decide the future of their country Mr McCain wants to take the eye off the ball.It seems rather convenient that with the polls favouring Sen Barack Obama as they are now as the public start blaming the republicans for the mess they are in now. Looks like the great democracy of the world just got interesting

Meanwhile Zimbabwe's president Robert Mugabe(Bobby to his mates) has had another go at the British and the Americans saying that they need to remove the evil sanctions. It was the usual story but what was interesting was that he said there was no stumbling block to the deal between him and Morgan Tsvangirai.
Now with Cde Thabo free to really knuckle down and work on the Zimbabwe deal after he is officially relieved from his duty as President of Mzansi today, that should mean that things will move a bit faster. Well at least according to one source as his availability will not be based on other issues out there.
Just wondering what the thuggery happening in South Africa will mean for Southern Africa though
